Desuperheaters
Probe-Type/Integral Control
The combination of desuperheater
spray element and spraywater control provides extremely high
turndown capability, double that of previously available units.
Multiple nozzles are staged to achieve
variable sprayhead Cv's, as illustrated below in photographs of
15%, 50% and 100% spraypatterns.

integral function of the desuperheater itself.
High Temperature Remote Control
Element
Yarway has developed a
revolutionary design to address the need for desuperheaters that can
operate reliably in steam flows over
1100° Fahrenheit. By locating the control elements above the
"probe" portion of the
desuperheater, the sliding element is not exposed to the
direct flow of steam.
